DSLNG Holds Corn Farming & Farmer Safety Training
DSLNG organized a training program regarding “Corn Farming Business Analysis & Farmer Safety Awareness” at the DSLNG Community Learning Center in Uso Village, Banggai, (18/9/2025). Around 50 farmers from 20 groups under DSLNG’s CSR program attended to deepen their knowledge of effective corn cultivation techniques, cost planning and yield projections, risk management, and the importance of using personal protective equipment (PPE) during spraying. The event featured agricultural and safety experts, as well as an inspiring farmer from Poso, Hasan Polohe, who shared his success story of harvesting 12 tons of corn per hectare. As a concrete show of support, DSLNG also distributed PPE kits and spraying equipment to boost productivity, strengthen food security, and foster a sustainable culture of safe work practices among farmers in its surrounding operational areas.
