DSLNG Wins 2026 Subroto Award for Flare Gas Emission Reduction Innovation
DSLNG received the 2026 Subroto Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) in the Best Technology Innovation category for its system engineering solutions and boil-off gas (BOG) reuse initiative to improve gas utilization efficiency and reduce emissions from LNG plant operations. The innovation reduced total gas flaring by 49%, surpassing the 40% target without requiring new facilities, through the optimization of existing infrastructure. The award was received by DSLNG Operation Director Adi Kustanto at the ceremony in Jakarta on 23 October 2026. DSLNG reaffirmed its commitment to operational reliability, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement through technology and facility optimization, supporting Indonesia’s broader energy transformation goals.
