DSLNG Strengthens School-Based Disaster Preparedness
DSLNG strengthens school-based disaster preparedness through Disaster Risk Reduction training at SMAN 1 Batui, Banggai Regency, in collaboration with the Banggai Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Uso Disaster Resilient Village (Destana), Uso Village Government, SMAN 1 Batui, and SMKN 1 Batui (8/9/ 2026). Attended by approximately 80 participants, the training equipped students, teachers, community members, and stakeholders with knowledge on electrical fire mitigation, disaster preparedness, tsunami risk mitigation, as well as earthquake and evacuation simulations. In addition to encouraging the establishment of a Disaster Response Volunteer Team at the school, DSLNG also supported the strengthening of preparedness facilities, including muster points, evacuation routes, and megaphones, as part of the company’s commitment to enhancing the capacity and resilience of communities and educational institutions in facing disaster risks.
