From the Newsroom to Indonesia’s Largest Energy Forum: DSLNG Strengthens the Capacity of Journalists from Central Sulawesi
DSLNG once again invited 13 journalists from Luwuk and Palu, Central Sulawesi, to participate in the 50th IPA Convention & Exhibition (IPA Convex) 2026, held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang. The program, which has been conducted for four consecutive years, is part of DSLNG’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the understanding and capacity of regional journalists regarding developments in Indonesia’s upstream oil and gas industry. In addition to having the opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders and energy policymakers, the journalists were welcomed by DSLNG President Director, Yuichi Sakaguchi, at the company’s exhibition booth and participated in a journalism competition organized by DSLNG. Two journalists from Luwuk and Palu were recognized as winners of the competition. Through this initiative, DSLNG aims to broaden the perspectives of local media on the strategic role of the LNG industry and the ongoing development of Indonesia’s energy sector, while fostering more informed and impactful journalism at the regional level.
