DSLNG Goes to Campus Held at Tadulako University, Discusses High-Risk Work Safety System

DSLNG once again carried out its DSLNG Goes to Campus program, which was held at the Faculty of Engineering, Tadulako University, and attended by hundreds of students from various engineering study programs on Wednesday (1/2/2026). The Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Engineering, Tadulako University, Dr. Ir. Bakri, S.T., expressed appreciation for DSLNG’s presence on campus, emphasizing that collaboration between industry and higher education provides added value for students by delivering practical insights relevant to workforce demands while enriching their understanding of occupational safety implementation in the industrial sector. During the session, DSLNG Safety Team Leader Ahmad Sulaiman delivered a presentation titled “Implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) in High-Risk Activities,” highlighting the importance of the work permit system as a risk control instrument in oil and gas operations, particularly for high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space work, and working at height. The disciplined implementation of PTW is considered a crucial factor in preventing workplace accidents and ensuring the safety of workers, assets, and the environment. The DSLNG Goes to Campus program is consistently conducted as part of the company’s tangible contribution to education, while also supporting the development of human resource quality in Central Sulawesi.
