DSLNG Cares for Semeru: Taking Action to Help Affected Children and Residents Recover
PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting communities affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru through a rapid-response initiative in Lumajang, East Java. The DSLNG team collaborates with social and philanthropic institutions Insan Cita Care (TRC Kahmi) and Dompet Dhuafa team was deployed on-site to provide recovery assistance, particularly for children and students. On Saturday (December 6, 2025), DSLNG distributed hygiene kits, bathing supplies, worship essentials, and other basic necessities at the Emergency School in Supit Urang Village and the Sumber Mujur Temporary Shelter. DSLNG also provided educational support to students of SDN 2 Supit Urang, including school bags, shoes, stationery, and AI-based learning materials. In addition to material aid, DSLNG organized trauma healing and psychosocial activities such as therapy sessions, educational games, and motivational activities to help restore children’s emotional well-being. DSLNG’s External Relations Manager, Pradipta Sidi, emphasized that this initiative reflects the company’s commitment to being present for communities during challenging times. Lumajang Regent, Indah Amperawati, expressed her appreciation for DSLNG’s contribution, particularly in ensuring the continuity of education amid the emergency situation.
