Tanzanian Government Delegation Returns to DSLNG Plant to Deepen LNG Management Insights

DSLNG once again welcomed a delegation from the Government of the Republic of Tanzania at its LNG plant facility in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, on Tuesday (22/7/2025). This follow-up visit involved representatives from the Tanzanian Ministry of Energy, Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was part of the Tanzanian Government’s strategic agenda in preparing for the development of its LNG project. Led by Senior Engineer of the Petroleum Department, Philemon Meddah, the delegation explored in greater depth the LNG plant management practices, safety, and environmental standards, as well as community engagement approaches implemented by DSLNG. Their second visit underscores DSLNG’s position as an internationally recognized learning partner in the responsible and sustainable management of energy.
