DSLNG Holds Corn Cultivation Training and Establishes Supply Chain for Farmers
DSLNG continues its efforts to enhance the agricultural sector in Banggai Regency by holding a Corn Cultivation Training on October 10, 2024, at the DSLNG Community Learning Center in Uso Village, Batui District. This training was attended by 38 farmers from 19 partner farmer groups and featured speakers from the Central Sulawesi Agricultural Instrument Standards Application Center and PT Seger Agro Nusantara.
Shakuntala Sutoyo, Senior Manager of Relations & Communication at DSLNG, emphasized the importance of farmers' commitment to achieving self-sufficiency and food security. Additionally, DSLNG provided hybrid corn seed packages to the farmer groups to support their cultivation practices, reflecting the company’s efforts to create a sustainable supply chain and enhance the economy of the communities surrounding the plan.
