DSLNG distributed 200 laying hen seedlings to the Motoutus Chicken Breeder Group on Tuesday (15/10/2024). The laying hen seedlings were handed over to a verified community livestock group with adequate cages facilities and running operations. This CSR program aimed at farmers is expected to provide economic benefits and improve the welfare of residents. It is also in line with the company's program to support food security, which is also in line with the current government's vision. In addition, the benefits can also be felt directly by the community to reduce dependence on egg supplies from outside the region.
DSLNG once again held its routine blood donation drive at the DSLNG Plant in Uso village, Batui District, on Wednesday (November 6, 2024), successfully collecting 242 bags of blood for the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Banggai Regency. The donation consisted of 58 bags of Blood Type A, 53 bags of Blood Type B, 122 bags of Blood Type O, and 9 bags of Blood Type AB, bringing DSLNG's total contribution since 2012 to 4,822 bags of blood. Making DSLNG the company with the largest blood donation record in the Banggai Region.
DSLNG organized a "Sharing Session on Journalistic and Industrial Photography" at Luwuk on November 1, 2024, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the capacity building of journalists in Banggai Regency. The event featured two national photographers, Basri Marzuki and Josua Marunduh, who shared their knowledge and experiences. Basri Marzuki, a senior photojournalist from LKBN Antara, emphasized the importance of storytelling elements in photography and the challenges faced in the era of artificial intelligence, while Josua Marunduh, a photo contributor for National Geographic Indonesia, provided various tips for capturing images. The session was attended by dozens of journalists who enthusiastically asked questions about challenges in the field, making it a collaborative platform beneficial for the professional development of journalistic photography.
