In celebration of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, DSLNG provided educational assistance to 144 students from elementary, junior high, and high schools in Batui, Kintom, and Nambo Districts, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi. The assistance, consisting of school supplies and stationery, was symbolically handed over by DSLNG representatives to several students, witnessed by the Banggai Regency Government after the Flag Raising Ceremony at Luwuk and Batui on Saturday, August 17, 2024. As part of the Independence Day celebration, DSLNG also supported the improvement of facilities at Karya Tolando Field, provided training uniforms for the Flag Raising Troops (Paskibraka) in Batui, Kintom, and Nambo Districts, and fulfilled other ceremonial needs. This assistance reflects DSLNG's efforts to contribute to the advancement of education in the areas surrounding the plant, in line with this year’s Independence Day theme, "New Nusantara, Advance Indonesia."

Welcoming the Indonesian Independence Day celebration, DSLNG once again held a routine blood donation event at the DSLNG Plant in Uso Village, Banggai Regency, on Wednesday (August 7, 2024). The event was attended by hundreds of employees, business partners, as well as members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the police, in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Banggai Regency. In this activity, DSLNG successfully collected 222 bags of blood, bringing the company’s total blood donations to 4,580 bags since 2012. This initiative not only helps maintain the blood supply in Banggai Regency but also reflects the spirit of cooperation that is an integral part of the company’s values.

In commemoration of National Children's Day on July 23, 2024, DSLNG, in collaboration with Relawan Oke community, organized the event "Storytelling with DSLNG" in Bonua Monondok, Batui District, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi. This event involved students from Pertiwi Batui Kindergarten and featured an interactive story about the importance of dental and oral health. Through cheerful storytelling methods, the children were taught the correct way to brush their teeth. This activity is part of DSLNG's efforts to support creative educational methods in the area around the plant in collaboration with the educational volunteer community.
