DSLNG Sends Six Youths for Integrated Agricultural Training in West Java

Amid the looming threat of a global food crisis, DSLNG has taken the initiative to provide sustainable agriculture and livestock integrated training for representatives of the communities within its operational areas. Six youths from the Batui, Kintom, and Nambo Districts were selected through recommendations from their respective district governments, considering their interests and abilities in the field of integrated agriculture-livestock. They are participating in the Integrated Sustainable Agriculture Training at the OISCA-Japan Training Center in Cikembar, Sukabumi Regency, West Java from May to July 2024. The training organized by the Association of Indonesian Regency Governments (Apkasi) in collaboration with the Organization for Industrial, Spiritual, and Cultural Advancement (OISCA) Japan. OISCA Japan has decades of experience in developing modern agricultural systems in various Asian countries. It is hoped that this training will produce resilient, innovative, creative agricultural human resources capable of applying modern agricultural technology to optimize the production of agricultural commodities in their respective regions.
